IT SALES ENGINEER
The IT Sales Engineer role is to assist in business development by securing clients from pre-sale, all the way through to implementation and ongoing support. The role will involve approaching multiple different sectors to offer embedded and innovative insurance products via online platform.
An understanding and ability to communicate technology solutions and the services provided is important to the success of this role.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assist in sourcing leads directly and engaging with group companies to target clients. (Initially Micro
Finance Institutions and Educational institutions) -
Developing business opportunities by arranging meetings and making sales pitches.

Presenting innovative insurance products to prospective customers.
-
Develop an in-depth understanding of the insurance online platform and underlying architectures by
troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause for customer reported issues. -
Provide analytics to show customers why a product will help their business.

Support & guide clients on the implementation of the insurance online platform.

Provide a point of communication between the client and Account Managers.

To investigate issues and provide support to allow resolution and reporting.

Maintain a knowledge of the insurance industry and the products or services being provided to clients, highlighting the specific benefits and services the solutions deliver.

Provide training in the use of solutions to allow end users, e.g., Cooperatives to access and manage policy data and insurance documentation

To liaise with internal solutions management teams to deliver new products and services
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in IT related subject, e.g., Computer Science

Experience with Solution Sales and Support
-
A self-starter with the ability to set their own schedule to manage and make appointments with clients,
drive customer engagements and deliver support and training services -
Ability to both work individually and in a team
-
Ability to present clearly.

Experience in user training
-
Ability to communicate insurance technical or solutions specific information in an easy-to-understand
format -
Ability to provide excellent customer service, including outstanding after-sales communication and care
-
Knowledge of industry trends, discoveries, and developments and how this may affect sales opportunities and the delivery of support services.

Good communication skills both oral and written

Microsoft 365 qualifications preferable

Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia

Experience and knowledge of the insurance industry and products preferred
