FINANCE ASSISTANT
The Finance Assistant plans, develops, and controls the day-to-day functioning of financial activities related to
external and internal affairs under the supervision of the Finance Manager. The Finance Assistant manages the
company's income and expenses that occur on a daily basis. The Finance Assistant is responsible for functional
areas including financial administration, system and policy development, monitoring, and control.

The candidate’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Manage the use of petty cash

Ensure that documents related to financial transactions are complete and correct.

Support the team in monthly financial reporting
-
Assist with report generation including receipt of all invoices, sorting, review for approval, account numbers, and invoice cancellation.

Assist the team in preparing travel request reports, creating travel realization reports, and attaching all receipts.
-
Assist with reports of all invoices for payment and ensure accuracy of final payment.
-
Ensure confidentiality when required.

Commitment to abide by all company policies and regulations pertaining to the primary job function.

Develop and implement procedures for accurate and efficient monthly and year-end general ledger closing.

Keep abreast of new business trends and assist in their implementation.

Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education at least high school / vocational school equivalent
-
Goal and result-oriented, with initiative, meticulous, detail, and good planning;

Demonstrated ability to handle complex knowledge management issues;

Proven ability to establish and maintain close and constructive working relationships with peers,
-
management, and staff in defining and meeting knowledge needs;
-
Good communication, interpersonal presentation, and organizational skills;

Ability to operate a Personal Computer

Ability to successfully work in a team;

Ability and willingness to learn and participate in capacity-building activities;

The high degree of creativity and discretion;
-
Fluency in spoken and written English;

Commitment to quality, confidential
